Clinical/Counseling interests

My counseling approach is a combination of client centered, acceptance commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients to build a safe and affirming environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship with clients is essential to creating a supportive environment. My current clinical interests include anxiety, depression, and interpersonal/relational concerns.

Multicultural interests

As a student and future counselor, I am committed to keep learning how to provide multiculturally competent counseling. I am passionate about continuing my education and social justice advocacy efforts. I have a special interest in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community to provide affirming therapeutic experiences.
