The staff at the University Counseling Service are outraged by the violence perpetrated against the Black community by civilians and police. We condemn this racism and police brutality and we are here to support the Black community as they persevere through fear, loss, and anti-Black violence. We also recognize that racism and violence against the Black community are not just limited to these recent events. If you find yourself feeling outraged, overwhelmed, or want to talk through your own experiences, we’re here for you. UCS is open and available via Zoom and phone. Our services are free and confidential. To schedule call 319-335-7294.
