Sam Brooks is a first-year practicum student at University Counseling Service and serves as a Graduate Assistant in sports psychology at Grinnell College. Sam approaches therapy from person-centered and feminist therapy orientations, emphasizing authenticity, collaboration, and an understanding of the broader social and cultural factors that shape people's experiences. He strives to create a supportive and validating space in which clients can explore their identities, strengths, challenges, and goals.
