Tessa Reed
UCS Master’s Trainee
Biography
Introduction
My counseling style is grounded in a Person-Centered approach that values authenticity, empathy, and the power of the therapeutic relationship. I draw from Gestalt, CBT, and Existential theory to help clients move beyond fear, clarify values, and take meaningful steps toward change. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where clients, as experts of their own lives, feel heard, valued, and accepted for their whole story. I also recognize that each person’s cultural background and lived experiences shape how they see and move through the world, and my therapeutic approach will always be guided through this lens.
