Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum Counselor
Biography

Introduction

I believe that meaningful change starts with a supportive client-therapist relationship and a welcoming environment. I strive to create an open, honest, and warm environment where students feel valued, understood, and can be their authentic self. My approach to counseling is grounded in Person-centered Therapy , while integrating techniques from additional modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), sandtray counseling, and other expressive interventions. Throughout the therapy journey, it is my hope that individuals grow, discover inner strengths, and create tools to overcome future challenges.
