UCS Master’s Trainee
Biography

Introduction

I firmly believe that we never stop growing, and there is no one way to grow or heal. I view counseling as a collaborative effort. I work with clients to draw on their own strengths to help them determine the solution. Through this practicum, I will also use various skills from therapies like Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, skills work (such as ones in Dialectical Behavior Therapy), as well as aspects of Behavioral Activation and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help the client achieve their goals. I also bring a trauma-informed lens into every session to help clients heal and prevent more harm.
