Therapeutic Approach:

Whether you're dealing with a difficult situation or just managing your day-to-day life, we all need a safe and supportive space to process, navigate, heal, and grow. As a therapist, I strive to create such an environment where you are met with compassion and understanding, and without judgment. I believe in using a collaborative approach where you have influence in the therapeutic process and customizing my approach to best fit your needs and reach your therapeutic goals. I utilize aspects from a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Strengths-Based Therapy.

Multicultural Interests:

In my years as a social worker and therapist, creating a safe environment where anyone regardless of background, ethnicity, identity, or ability would feel welcome has been a central component to my practice. I am committed to practicing cultural humility and being an ongoing learner as I strive toward furthering my cultural competency. I am passionate about social justice, upholding equity of others, and advocating for those with marginalized identities.

Outreach Interests:

As a therapist, I strive to make mental health care feel more accessible and obtainable. Outreach opportunities allow us to connect in spaces outside of our office, connecting with students and campus partners. My passion for outreach is to build relationships as well as provide teaching of practical skills that can be used in everyday life such as mindfulness, coping skills, and self-care strategies.
