Counseling and Clinical Interests

My clinical work is primarily guided by the humanistic and existential qualities of Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), which at its core, values authentic, genuine counselor-client interaction. Throughout the therapy process, I work to create a nonjudgmental, collaborative, and trust-based relationship with my clients to facilitate vulnerable self-reflection of thoughts and feelings, foster self-worth, and improve quality of life.

My interests include the focused treatment of anxiety, depression, interpersonal distress, identity exploration, existential issues, multicultural concerns, adjustment during periods of transition in life, trauma, and concerns related to sport and performance.

Multicultural Interests

My personal and professional values closely align with a strong emphasis on social justice, cultural humility, inclusion, and advocacy. I recognize my clients as the expert of their own lived experiences and strive to provide a respectful environment for clients of all identities and backgrounds.
