As the Administrative Services Specialist for the University Counseling Service, I oversee a team of support staff who, with your feedback, have some new concepts to adopt and execute so that our legacy of quality care can be maintained while we grow. Within my 22 years of serving the IU campus community through UCS, I have developed a very nuanced understanding of the support staff’s responsibilities and I’m excited to continue connecting people with mental health services that fit their needs. The team and I are responsible for supporting staff by scheduling clients using Titanium (EMR Software), answering phone calls and emails, appointment check-in, and communicating with clients on behalf of the counselors. We provide general information to students, families, faculty, staff, and other constituencies regarding UCS services. I know that college related transitions can be challenging for students and parents, so I am delighted to offer good information and encouragement to help you navigate these times.

Beyond a call to service, I delight in partnering and in serving in various ways. I am a UI Building Coordinator for Westlawn, and a member of the American College Health Association. I served on the Council for the Status of Women, also as a LiveWell Wellness Ambassador and was Editor/Curator of Shrink Rap (the UCS Campus Mental Health Newsletter).
