The Guest House

Description: The Guest House is a series of four workshops that focus on cultivating a more compassionate stance towards ourselves, others and the world around us. Join Christopher Anders, M.A. to uncover what self-compassion is and practicing new skills to promote healing and growth. Topics to be explored include self-kindness, our connections with others, and a special focus on mindfulness to better face the challenges in our world. Meetings will last for 50 minutes. Please try to join on time, but know that you are welcome at any time.

Tuesday, January 26th: Self-Compassion
We will discuss the three components of self-compassion and practice self-compassion and mindfulness.

Tuesday, February 2nd: Self-Kindness
We will focus on what it means to be gentle and understanding with ourselves, why we are self-critical and practice ways of being kind to ourselves.

Tuesday, February 9th: Common Humanity
We will talk about why connection to others matters in self-compassion and explore who taught us how to care and be cared for.

Tuesday, February 16th: Mindfulness
We will focus on mindfulness and how its practice can lead to a more self-compassionate life.

Tuesday, February 23rd: Self-Compassion
We will discuss the three components of self-compassion and practice self-compassion and mindfulness.

Tuesday, March 2nd: Self-Kindness
