My approach to counseling incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Humanistic approaches. I’m committed to working collaboratively with clients to help them get unstuck from difficult internal experiences and live the life they value. My clinical interests include eating disorders and body image concerns, multicultural issues, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and academic skills. I can also provide services in Mandarin Chinese.
I have a special interest in issues of racial diversity and acculturation, in particular for Asian American/Asian international students. I am dedicated to advocating for body diversity and raising awareness of eating disorders. I am also interested in concerns faced by LGBT-identified populations, including the processes of coming out and gender transitioning.
