- I approach counseling from a primarily interpersonal and brief psychodynamic lens, with integration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based techniques. I attend to the therapy relationship as a core vehicle for fostering collaboratively-established client growth goals.
- My interests include: relationship issues, family of origin concerns, women’s issues, sexuality issues, identity concerns, cultural adjustment and impact of immigration, depression and anxiety, existential issues, wellness practices, and client empowerment and education about risks and benefits of psychotropic medications.
